Addicted to bridge? Let's have a mini-tournament at IDEC! Who's in? For novices, learn the superbly strategic card game. Get engrossed playing together.

Experience the meditative art of spinning yarn with charkhas. Popularised by the Gandhian resistance to manufactured cloth during the Indian Independence struggle, the art of spinning yarn is seeing a renewed interest.

4. Contact Improvisation

Guru Suraj and Aditya Sasidharan are two of the loveliest contact improvisation dancers in the country. You are lucky to get a chance to dance with them. They will host an evening (or two!) of contact-and-music jam. Get ready for some contact!

5. Yoga

Start your day with morning yoga.

6. Traditional games with Kavade

Play age-old boardgames and discover the joy of traditional wisdom. You have to be a good strategist to win

Immaculate Anthony has researched and revived various traditional games. Join her for some fun group games.

8. ACTIVITY: Bamboo structures to be built - Machaan - Look-out platform in trees

The bamboo structures that will be built on campus during the conference will be done with whoever volunteers, led by two artisans from Meghalaya, which is in the North-East of India. Two or three machaans will be built.

9. Nautanki (Playful) Indian Style of Theatre

Come explore this humourous flavour of Indian theatre. Improvise and have fun.

10. Contemporary Dance Session with The Kha Foundation

Do what you fancy! Dance, move, roll about, lie down. Play with objects.
